As a Business Intelligence/Data Operations Analyst your primary function will be to keep things running as expected, whilst making every effort to improve things whenever possible. You will be doing the following:


  • A keen eye for on reporting related issues and take initiative for resolving them
  • Power BI Gateway Administration
  • Power BI Datasets/Schedules Setup
  • Power BI Application Access
  • SSRS Distribution Lists/Catalogue/Access/ maintenance
  • Data reconciliation across PBI/SSRS/Cubes
  • Report monitoring
  • Data extraction using SQL
  • Logging incidents, capturing all relevant details
  • Updating and finding resolutions to existing incidents
  • Liaising between different departments


Skills required:

  • Strong SQL, SSRS and Power BI skills
  • Some programming experience/skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
  • Experience of working in a fast paced operational environment
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to organize and prioritize a number of activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years experience within a BI Developer role
  • Strong Power BI visualisation experience
  • A good level of using SQL, SSIS and SSRS
