Job description

The End User Computing Analyst is part of a 24/7 support team that utilizes their strong PC troubleshooting and problem solving skills in maximizing the uptime of the PCs, phones, agent software on the desktop, and site infrastructure.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interacts professionally with users and internal business areas to provide a high quality of service when troubleshooting issues or responding to queries
  • Communicates, responds and follows up on all issues raised by the users
  • Performs installation, relocation, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance of desktop devices and software applications
  • Monitors backup jobs and ensure high level of completion success rate
  • Administers Windows Services such as Active Directory and File Servers
  • Drives site level implementations of new PC hardware, application roll outs and project activities

Qualifications and Other Skills
  •  Experience supporting desktops, laptops, handheld devices and voice/data infrastructure
  •  Experience in ADDS (Active Directory Domain Services), GPO's and Batch Scripting
  •  Experience in Windows Domain Environment and Symantec Back up
  •  Highly proactive; addresses site level issues with appropriate sense of urgency
  •  Experience in Windows Domain Environment
  •  Working knowledge of Symantec Backup Exec and Infoblox is an advantage
  •  Batch scripting is an advantage
  •  Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 365
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
