Job description

Reporting to the Director of Project Delivery - you will work with the Product Development and Software teams for delivering projects of varying size and complexity by organizing and managing project activities, guide and mentor team(s) on how to get the most out of self-organization. You will remove impediments/blockers or guide the team to remove impediments. Lastly, you will deliver optimal team performance at all times in line with bench marking, established metrics/KPIs and associated scorecards.  

What You Will Be Doing...

  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing,
  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.
  • Experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: various Burndown technologies, many Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
  • Creation, maintenance and control of project documentation.
  • Prepare project organization and communication charts. 
  • Track the progress and quality of work being performed.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
  • Keep the project team, stakeholders, and others informed about project status and issues that may impact a successful project completion.

What You Will Need To Have...

  • Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least four years for an Agile software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. 
  • Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various  Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
  • Experience managing and delivering sensitive information.
  • Microsoft Project expertise.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues from all disciplines. Drive delivery of your products and features
  • Able to confidently provide effective written and verbal updates on the product road map and key projects to senior leadership and stakeholders
