Job description

The Risk Analyst - Orbis is responsible for identifying and investigating incidents of actual and suspected fraudulent activity leading to the abuse of William Hill.

The core objectives are achieved through verifying a customer's account integrity and executing full impact investigation for the business and relevant departments. The role also includes daily interaction with William Hill retail operators.  


Fraud Detection and Risk Analysis

  • Uses in house and third party tools to detect potential fraud across all relevant William Hill platforms
  • Make accurate, well informed risk analysis of customer behavior
  • Takes appropriate follow up action on customer account in line with the risk analysis and company procedures

Productivity, Quality and Compliance

  • Meets the department's expected levels of productivity and quality Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensures regulatory compliance by ensuring all appropriate process are followed

Feedback Cycle

  • Provides ongoing feedback and raises problems based on day to day experience as part of departments continuous improvement
  • Provides ongoing feedback and fraudulent activities from all sources to contribute to team fraud and risk knowledge base


  • Keen attention to details, analytical and proactive
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications
  • Can effectively interact within all levels of organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibits initiative and pro-active traits, professionalism and willingness to learn
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Risk and Fraud experience is an advantage
  • Amenable to work on shifting schedule
