Job description

Risk Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the business is adhering to its obligations under the GB License and to assist in protecting key persons in the business who hold Personal Management Licenses.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Determine if customer can reasonably afford to spend the amount he is depositing or losing 
  • Validate if the customer is betting with funds of their own accord
  • Review if the customer is comfortable with the level of spend
  • Ensure that AV, KYC and Responsible Gambling rules set in Openbet and Playtech are working properly
  • Analyse customer activities to determine if there is a sign of a potential gambling problem
  • Review Regulatory and Responsible Gambling handling and processes to correct errors and improve perfomance of other team/department
  • Identify the cause of problem or complaints
  • Handle and respond to Cmpliance/CDD related escalations from other teams
  • Review handling process and policies
  • Compile and prepare data to be sent to CDD Gib and/or Management
  • Batch upload of task in RN to be handled by the whole team
  • Create and send adhoc reports being requested by the management

Other Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's/College degree holderis an advantage
    • Proficient in the use of software applications such as Openbet, Playtech, Admin and Iovation
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Application - Excel and wordStrong research skills and highly detail - oriented
    • Has excellent communication skillsHas the ability to multitask and work independently
    • Flexibility to work different shifts
