Job description

As the SEO Manager you will Work closely with the Acquisition Director to optimize William Hill’s organic traffic, search engine rankings, and quality of incoming traffic. You will work closely with the Product & UX teams to optimize the web platform structure and content for search engines.


What You Will Do:


  • Work closely with SEM to ensure the search strategy is complementary
  • Evaluate opportunities to drive organic traffic through third party platforms e.g. advertorials on sports sites
  • Ensure that the William Hill brand holds a competitive presence and share-of-voice across leading search engines
  • Develop and maintain the SEO strategy for all William Hill US digital properties, monitoring performance on a daily basis and identifying areas for improvement
  • Define and track KPIs for ongoing SEO and content initiatives
  • Monitor organic search performance vs top competitor sites on a daily basis
  • Identify and engage best agencies/vendors and negotiate national contracts
  • Audit web pages and develop roadmap to help implement required changes
  • Engage with data analytics to assess and report project results

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5 years of professional experience in developing and implementing SEO programs for a large scale brand
  • A keen interest in sport and media
  • Knowledge of the sports & gaming industry is a plus, but not essential
  • Experience with SEO tools, webmaster guidelines and KPIs across search engines
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing principles such as funnel optimization UX & Landing Page optimization
  • Extensive knowledge of SEO systems, e.g., Google Adwords
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and should thrive in high expectation scenario with many stakeholders
  • Efficient and confident communicator who can engage senior management on relevant topics in a time efficient manner
