Job description

Come join our growing team! The Software Support Specialist for William Hill US is responsible for researching problems, troubleshooting and developing workarounds and/or solutions to resolve incidents quickly, minimizing impact to customers.

The Day to Day...

  • Assist CBS Software Support Manager in sharing feedback on customer contact issues and enabling first call resolution wherever possible
  • Assist CBS Software Support Manager in creating and delivering regular performance reports, including quality and speed of issue resolution
  • System analysis
  • Monitoring performance and fixing problems as they arise
  • Assisting Customer Support department, taking ownership of software escalations and keeping the customer informed of progress and resolution

What You Will Need...

  • Advanced computer skills.
  • 1+ years of entry level tech support experience
  • MIS or CS education (taking courses) is helpful.
  • Working knowledge of Linux based operating systems (MySQL, Redis, PHP, and Apache) if helpful
  • Knowledge of race and sports industry is preferred.
  • Possess effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Display ambitious standards, shows initiative, productivity, and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to perform different tasks and follow procedures correctly.
