Treasury within William Hill is a strategic business partner and risk management service. Treasury interfaces between the business and its financial stakeholders and partners. You’ll have the opportunity as the Operations Support to get involved in the strategic decision-making process and recommend how best to manage the financial risk in the strategy.

Your Role

You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to improve the service provided by the Treasury department. You’ll manage and optimise the operating costs of Treasury, while ensuring value for money and cost effective risk reduction. You’ll liaise with banks to open, close and novate bank accounts across the Group. You’ll update account mandates, authorities, signatories and SSI’s as necessary. You’ll work and support the Treasury Controller with KYC and AML reporting requirements. You’ll receive, check and log third-party trade confirmations. You’ll administer and manager the corporate T&E card programme You’ll administer and manage embedded virtual card programmes for travel and catalogue spends. You’ll assist the Treasury Controller with administration of access to key Treasury systems and bank platforms. You’ll assist in improving treasury performance and support the Treasury Controller in on-boarding new external counter-parties.

Skills Needed

You’ll have an analytical and highly numerate skill set and have prior experience in Treasury and/or Risk. Ideally you’ll have a finance background that is ACT qualified or part qualified. You’ll have communicated across senior stakeholders and manage many changing deadlines and timelines. You’ll need to have demonstrable experience for timely and accurate reporting. As long as you have the drive and passion to get to grips with William Hill we can provide the rest.
