Job description

About us

With over 16,000 people worldwide, our people are at the heart of everything we do and we offer a fast-paced environment where we have fun, celebrate success and give you all the tools you’ll need to be your best self. It’s not just our colleagues we look after – we’ve got a responsibility to our customers too and we work hard on our ambition that nobody is harmed by gambling.

Your role in the team

  • Using various methods in your tool box including usability labs, focus groups, and analytics, you’ll collect data on user experience across both Sportsbook and Gaming
  • You’ll bring your passion for user research to work with product and editorial teams, understanding their requirements and deciding on the best approach for testing and measuring metrics
  • Your curiosity, and desire to go one better, will help you as you work alongside the Head of Research to provide feedback on User Experience journey analysis, whilst investigating brand performance.  Working with the wider research and data management team you’ll gather insights to help inform design solutions.

Skills needed

We’re looking for your natural curiosity to shine through when you bring your User Experience Research knowledge along with experience of analytics software such as Google Analytics, and user-testing tools. Your experience in UX research, including design ethnography contextual research, lab-based research, usability testing and focus groups make you a good fit for this role and experience of Axure RP will be a plus.

What we offer

Our brand new central London office has a vibrant, fun and collaborative start-up feel. You’ll feel part of something fresh and totally immersed in William Hill’s brand and products, as lots of your stakeholders are onsite and work with the teams based in our other locations (like Gibraltar and Krakow)

William Hill in London

We couldn’t be closer to the action in our London office. A 2-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road station, round the corner from Soho and Oxford Street means you’ll never be short of anywhere to go for a lunchtime stroll or a post-work drink. There’s plenty of green space too with Regent’s Park and Hyde Park not far away at all. Working in our London office you’ll also benefit from a heavily discounted Zone 1 – 6 travel card so you’ll be whizzing around London in no time.
