Job description

As the Vice President of Compliance, you will provide strategic management and direction to the Company as it relates to compliance matters and addresses compliance and regulatory issues/concerns within the organization. In this role you will work to ensure there is proper visibility regarding the state of compliance regarding rules, standards, criteria and regulations of the various regulatory agencies that govern the Company’s business. You will report to the Company’s General Counsel.


What you will be doing

  • Possess knowledge of all licensing and regulatory requirements relating to the business.
  • Leads the Compliance team in maintaining and revising policies and procedures for the general compliant operation of the Company's business.
  • Collaborate with department heads and casino partners to assure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Sustain a business anchored in integrity, discipline, communication and structure focused on completing quality projects and initiatives in a timely manner.
  • Oversee team projects and initiatives to ensure the business operates in a compliant manner.
  • Efficiently escalates compliance matters.
  • Deliver oral and written reports with recommendations for improvements and/or findings from review of policies and procedures to senior management.
  • Oversee training to company employees on relevant policies.
  • Identify, evaluate and analyze impact of state legislative and regulatory issues and advise management concerning impact.
  • Manage the team in performing on-going evaluations of the internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure proper controls are in place; report any deficiencies to senior management and escalate compliance matter.
  • Maintains personal contacts and communications with key personnel in regulatory agencies, both at the state and national level.
  • Develop strong relationship and collaborate with various support departments, including Trading, Operations, HR, Legal, and IT to communicate compliance messaging and initiatives.
  • Ensure regular and substantive communication with counterparts in the UK.
  • Oversee, administer and implement various compliance programs for the business.

What You Will Need: 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum 8+ years in compliance with 4+ of said years in a managerial/leadership role
  • Gaming experience required
  • Proficient on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
