Procurement Analyst 


The Procurement Analyst is responsible for carrying out the activities of the functional pillars of the teams enhanced function. This role ensures the efficient acquisition of goods and services through effective supplier engagement, compliance with procurement policies and regulations, and seamless coordination with internal stakeholders.

The Analyst will manage Manila sourcing initiatives and ensure timely delivery aligned with business unit expectations. Additionally, the role oversees the accuracy and completeness of procurement transactions, including PR/PO processing, contract alignment, savings tracker and issue resolution, contributing to the overall integrity and performance of the procurement function.

What you will be doing:

Strategic Procurement (Manila Procurement)

Percent of time spent in this area: 40%

  • Initially screens all purchase requests submitted by various department and discusses with the requestor the specifications, timeline, budget (and others) of their request/s
  • Responsible on initial process of sourcing, negotiation of commercial terms, savings attributes and other contracting compliance.
  • Communicate concerns, updates and general queries to stakeholders (requestor, supplier, Group Procurement and Management if needed) to avoid error on the acquisition of goods and services
  • Manages supplier commitments and service delivery
  • Responsible on timely updating of all record files of Procurement
  • Handles PEZA transaction related to the acquisition of goods and services

Transactional Procurement (PO Management and Contract Queries)

Percent of time spent in this area: 30%

  • Checks PR/PO availability
  • Checks accuracy of order details aligned with contract/invoice terms.
  • Chases approvers on pending PR approval
  • Collaborates with suppliers and stakeholders on PO-related issues.
  • Ensures contracts uploaded have a matching PR/PO, raise with GP if there’s concerns

Stakeholder Engagement

Percent of time spent in this area: 20%

  • Liaising, collaborating with the BU Owners, internal stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Identifies and escalates (if needed) discrepancies between contracts and PR/POs to the Procurement Lead, ensuring timely resolution.

Business Process Improvement

Percent of time spent in this area: 10%

  • Create/contribute procurement processes and strategies to improve the business
  • Documents and update changes in the procurement process.

Who we are looking for:

  • Must have at least 3 years work experience in Procurement/Contract Management and preferably experience in BPO/Shared Service industry.
  • Relevant experience in preparing, reviewing and agreeing technical terms and conditions in purchase contracts and service agreements.The ability to work proactively and on your own initiative.
  • Excellent team and stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in Procurement/Purchasing is a must
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain Management is desirable
  • Knowledge in Oracle Fusion Finance System
