Job description

A new employer has come to NJ, William Hill Race and Sports Book.  Our marketing department is gearing up for the expansion. We are conducting a search for an Affiliates Manager.  Reporting to the Director of Digital Customer Acquisition, you will help to drive William Hill digital revenue growth, through the acquisition of profitable players working with sports affiliate websites. You will Identify and recruit new affiliates, negotiating and defining the commercial terms of affiliate deals and track player quality coming in.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Define US sports betting and iGaming affiliate models working with other William Hill affiliate marketing teams, media agency & partners
  • Work effectively with senior directors / stakeholders
  • Take ownership of all affiliate deals in portfolio taking responsibility on the deals done
  • Build strong working relationships with key affiliate partners and oversee existing affiliate relationships
  • Monitor affiliate performance, identify areas for improvement, and report into the Acquisition Director
  • Set targets including ROI, and monitor these on an ongoing basis and intervene where ROI threshold is not met (e.g. blacklisting, revising contracts)
  • Work with the regulations and operate according to the T&Cs

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in affiliate management is required
  • A keen interest in sport and media
  • Experience in the editorial domains that cover sports and gaming, that will constitute a significant portion of affiliate traffic
  • Experience in managing complex affiliate relationships required
  • Knowledge of the sports & gaming industry is a plus, but not essential
  • Well organized, able to prioritize work for self and others
  • Efficient and confident communicator, strong partnership, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Data oriented and highly fluent with Microsoft Excel
