In our sports-focused environment you’ll find much more behind the scenes than just restarting applications. As an Application Support Analyst, we want you to align your agile experience or interest with our betting platforms. Your main internal customer base will be our Sports Traders. They manage prices of betting opportunities across William Hill products, and are a fast paced team who need constant support. 

We run a 24/7 rota including weekend and overnight work. During the day you’ll focus on supporting our Trading function, and between 6pm and 8am you’ll support the full set of William Hill products. You’ll use several well known and bespoke applications to resolve issues and restore service across our platforms (that’s retail, mobile and online). 

You’ll work autonomously, but escalation points are there when you need them. You need to be able to consume a lot of information and obtain new information to help you solve problems solo. Good written and verbal communication skills are important as you’ll maintain relations with Trading staff, stakeholders and third parties. 

You might have done a role like this before - or maybe you're a graduate (or equivalent) with a technical / mathematical degree and an interest in how tech ticks. If you class yourself as an experienced analyst, we’d like you to bring knowledge of supporting bespoke applications -preferably a wide range rather than just a single product. Your expertise in UNIX (desirable) Apache and  SQL would be valuable. Whatever you bring to the table, you can expect to enjoy life #behindthebet
