Job description

Push our Data Platform (and yourself) on to greater things

Our Business Analysts are pretty keen on technology– in fact you could say we’re bordering on obsessed.

Our data management developers have been building their own in-house data platform – a piece of work that forms an important part of William Hill’s business technology roadmap. Here, you’ll work closely with international teams on a variety of change projects.  Data is playing an ever more important role in business decisions, and you can help to push things forward.

You’ll be in a pivotal position, visible and accountable.  The goalposts may keep moving, but we're sure you’ll be up to the challenge. You’ll gather requirements from business owners, produce user stories and document requirements to see projects through to successful completion. Our business and tech worlds are moving ever closer, and you’ll be well placed to make sure that colleagues from both sides keep talking and sharing knowledge.

You must be able to operate confidently as a Business Analyst who’s part of a fully-fledged agile team. You’re adept at identifying and writing user story artefacts plus the supporting documentation to bridge the knowledge gap between the product owner and the delivery teams. You can manage stakeholders effectively, building strong relationships.  If you’re going to make your mark, you’ll have to be comfortable gathering business requirements and turning them into workable, realistic goals for our developers.

Experience of working with integrated digital platforms is a must, and ideally you’ll have had exposure to / experience of working on data projects (not just producing reports but helping the chain of development that precedes any reporting.) You’ll also be a confident communicator who’s not afraid of sharing an (informed) opinion or two.

We offer a great salary, benefits and potential for development. Our culture is inclusive, and fast paced but relaxed and friendly. We’re global, so this opens up lots of opportunity - including the chance to travel occasionally.
