What you will be doing
- Providing operational support and product improvement to our Orchestration toolset
- Consulting with Delivery teams on usage of public cloud (AWS) platforms
- Working closely with Architects to deliver high quality products
- Working closely with others providing coaching and guidance
- Driving our expansion into AWS through effective DevOps principles, clean Terraform code, Docker/Kubernetes orchestration and automation
- Work within an agile engineering squad to enhance operations and speed up feature delivery
- Engaging and directing any ‘Proof of Concept’ or prototyping of applications to continually move us forward
- Ensure security, operational, and supportability guidelines are integrated into solutions by liaising with relevant teams to clarify design implications.
Who we are looking for
- An excellent working knowledge of configuration management, provisioning, and orchestration tools such as Terraform
- Robust focus on security in public and private cloud and experience of working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent background in Infrastructure as a Code including management and testing infrastructure deployments
- Excellent Linux system admin skills
