Job description

As a Product Owner in the Gaming team at William Hill you’ll be responsible for the development of class leading Cross-Sell products (cross-sell defined as multi-product customers, predominantly Sports to Gaming). Working with a blend of commercial, marketing and technical people, you will need to draw on your experience in managing multifunctional teams to ensure business objectives are met collaboration and consistency is delivered, and that the right balance is made between innovation and commercial viability.

Based in Gibraltar or London and reporting to the Head of Gaming Product, you will predominantly work with teams in Gibraltar / London and Krakow.

 

You’ll have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Work with Head of Product to translate strategy and business objectives into a rolling Product Roadmap   
  • Identify and analyse new products and features to be developed
  • Work with the internal business units to ensure business objectives and requirements are captured, challenged and ultimately delivered
  • Define product development priorities and roadmap.
  • Write technical PRDs, user stories & competitor analysis
  • Gathered requirements, analysed business needs, and wrote functional and technical designs.
  • Use data (internal and external) to understand the Sports and Gaming business, the product and the customer trends
  • Use customer research to understand their needs
  • Use competitor data/research to understand market trends, benchmark our products vs. the competition
  • Work with technology (UX, Architect, BA, etc.) turn the Product Roadmap into delivered products
  • Work with BA’s to ensure user stories are defined with appropriate detail and are “ready” for development
  • Track delivery (vs. roadmap) and ensure strong communication of deliverables to key stakeholders
  • Ultimate sign-off of features for release (e.g. acceptance of deliverables, big triage)

 

Essential experience and skills

 

  • Led an iGaming & Platform product team
  • Passionate about product and product design
  • Have a customer centric approach to product development – able to derive insights from data and customer feedback
  • Commercial understanding of the gaming industry
  • Data-led
  • Several years’ experience in the Sports/Gaming industry
  • Strong AGILE background with experience in SCRUM
  • Experience of working in a multi-product / brand environment
  • Worked in multi-disciplinary teams (Design, UX, data, business operations, marketing)
  • Strong communicator
  • First class presentation skills
We are offering a basic salary of £50,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefits
