Job description

We are looking for a Leeds based motivated and fully experienced Data Product Leader, this opportunity involves managing a team of experienced product managers who design various data-oriented solutions.
 
What you will be doing

  • Leading a high-performing data product team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Defining the product vision and roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution
  • Overseeing the design and implementation of optimal different projects and effective business solutions
  • Driving continuous improvement in data product development processes and methodologies
  • Collaborating with other business units to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational objectives
  • Prioritising and lead multiple projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and resource optimisation
  • Serving as Data user’s focal point for existing and new activities
  • Working closely with compliance managers, Business analysts, developers, and other key stakeholders in the company whilst troubleshooting data and product issues

Who we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a leadership role (managing or mentoring a team) within a data product or analytics team with an understanding of data-driven decision-making and experience with data product development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present both business and technical concepts
  • Deep Knowledge in BI & Data , including methodologies, tools, technologies, and capabilities with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with SQL Server and Snowflake – advantage
