As a Data Rights Specialist, it will be your responsibility to ensure that GDPR rights requests such as The Right of Access and The Right to Erasure are processed in compliance with the regulatory requirements.
You will also be working closely with the Data Protection Team to safeguard 888 William Hill Data Protection compliance position.
What you will be doing:
- Handling GDPR rights requests such as Right of Access and Erasure escalated by Customer Service Teams. Also catering to similar requests from internal stakeholders (i.e. Legal Team, Data Protection team)
- Thoroughly reviews each request or inquiry, compiles the stored data and shares with data subjects within the statutory requirements, ensuring the security and completeness of data.
- With the guidance of Data Protection Team, attends to further queries of the data subjects relating to their personal data that 888 William Hill and all of its brands hold. This includes but not limited to how the data are stored, used, shared with third parties, and how long the data is retained.
- Ensures that all GDPR rights requests are being picked-up and handled within the regulatory time frame.
- Liaises with other internal and external stakeholders that process or stores personal data.
- Provides feedback to relevant teams on Rights requests received by the business.
- Escalates to Line Manager or Senior team members any high-risk cases encountered.
- Reports to Data Protection team Personal data and SLA breach cases
What we are looking for:
- Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat)
- Preferably knowledgeable in systems such as Openbet, NYX, Oracle, Live Person, Splunk, Alvaria, Permission Engine, Symplify, etc.
- Preferably, with basic knowledge on ID checking and Fraud/KYC procedures
- Good performance background on quality, compliance and adherence to deadlines/SLA
- Effective English communication skills
- Ability to respond positively and adapt to changes in tasks, procedures, deadlines and targets
- Ability to cope with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in shifting schedule
