Job description
The role

The role supports the high quality of delivery of services by the Global Finance Service Centre (GFSC) by delivering agile projects and system continuous improvements identified by the towers and working closely with Finance Systems to deliver enhancements.

The role also manages the delivery of change and projects across the GFSC.

 Core responsibilities

• Work with tower teams to identify opportunities for Continuous improvements and system enhancements (including finance point solutions and Robotics) and develop project plans to deliver improvements
• Build business cases for larger changes that require investment to demonstrate ROI
• Support monthly GFSC performance review meetings, taking notes and converting to actionable tasks or projects which are then monitored to completion.
• Attend all Tower Huddles and lead continuous improvement reviews, creating projects to deliver change across the GFSC or wider finance
• Support change initiatives impacting the GFSC including IT led system enhancements or additional ERP functionality.
• Ensure appropriate continuous professional development, keeping abreast of all internal, legislative, and industry best practice
• Ensure appropriate interpretation and implementation of required changes in a timely manner
• Support all internal and external audit activities through the provision of required documentation when necessary

What we are looking for:

Secondary education qualifications or equivalent
• Certification and experience with Agile or Prince 2 ways or working and principles
• Lean Six Sigma Green belt would be ideal
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and record keeping.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet established reconciliation deadlines.
• Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects at once
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Experience working in a shared service environment would be ideal and experience project managing within a finance function is essential
