Based in London or Leeds, as part of our Commercial and Customer Analytics team, you’ll join a dynamic group of professionals who are passionate about delivering insights that shape strategy and drive decision-making across the business. We work closely with global stakeholders and are respected as subject matter experts across key areas including Customer Lifecycle Management, Gaming and Sportsbook Commercial, Retail, Growth & Strategy, and Marketing.

In this role, you’ll lead high-impact analytics initiatives, mentor a talented team (some are off-shore), and collaborate with other leaders across the Business Analytics function to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end solutions. You’ll be at the heart of a culture that values professionalism, innovation, and shared success—where every voice is heard and every insight matters.

You'll bring proven in-depth experience in commercial analytics, customer insights, or a related field. You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. You are an expert in data storytelling and visualisation, and you know how to translate complex data into actionable insights.

You are proficient in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and BI platforms like Power BI or Tableau with significant experience leading teams and developing talent in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you will be doing:

 

  • Leading a team of onshore and offshore analysts to ensure optimal business support and value creation where possible.
  • Ensure positive engagement of the team through development plans and other means.
  • Develop and own Growth & Strategy Analytics strategy and associated milestones aligned to Business and Team Specific objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Strategy, Research, BI, Ops, and Commercial teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across diverse business areas.
  • Work with Director of Commercial and Customer analytics and other senior members of the team to ensure collaboration and transparent communication is happening where required.
  • Collaborate with BI and Data Ops team to ensure development plans are aligned to business requirements. - Inform new ways to cut data to narrate business performance aligned to stakeholder and business objectives.
  • Coach on technical, analytical and softer skills for those in the team.
  • Conduct own deep dive analysis when required

 

 

Who we are looking for:

  • Excellent analytics skills and will have proven experience in strategy, commercial analytics, or business intelligence roles. With in-depth experience in analytics, and management experience.  You'll have experience working with customer insights, survey/NPS analysis, and segmentation frameworks. Leadership skills and the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a team (some are offshore)
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable data insights with excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses, and advanced analytics techniques, with excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics) and  expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel) and advanced analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R).
