We’re a leading betting and gaming company, so we need a technology function that constantly grows and moves with the times.   Our people are our biggest asset, and we’re looking for a HR Business Partner to support our senior tech leaders and employees in the UK and Gibraltar. With over 500 staff across Leeds and London, it’s a big role – very busy, probably tough at times, but very rewarding.


You’ll build close relationships with senior tech leaders – those people who report directly to our Group CIO. You’ll understand their goals and challenges, and together you’ll embed a leadership culture that supports and delivers our technology objectives.  You’ll focus on leadership development; coaching and supporting managers to recruit and develop their teams. You’ll deal with complex employee relations cases, and with your guidance, our techies will gain a better understanding of HR and how our policies and procedures can help them. 


Having face to face time with your leaders will be really important if you’re going to make a difference. You’ll divide your time between our London and Leeds offices in order to get people’s attention and make things work.  Your HR colleagues are international, so you’ll have chance to get to know our teams in Krakow and Gibraltar too.


 As well as improving operational HR practices, you’ll have an impact on our strategy. The HR function is well respected across the business, and you’ll be able to work closely with senior stakeholders. You’ll have input into Director level conversations, and there’s a platform for your ideas to be turned into workable HR solutions.  You’ll have the freedom to operate within an established HR framework.


You’re a robust HR professional with a genuine interest in the welfare of people and the commercial importance of the work you do. Your ER knowledge is exceptional. You can work autonomously, and have the confidence to build your credibility. We’d prefer you to come from a digital or technology background, but you could also bring valuable experience from other industries which share our pride in our people.
