Head of Marketing Effectiveness


We are on the hunt for a Head of Marketing Effectiveness who will be responsible for leading the marketing team to arrive at improved performance through the use of data and insights. William Hill is investing in the technology, processes and people to realise a truly ambitious future vision in digital marketing, and this role forms a key part of that change.


You’ll be driving the agenda of Marketing Effectiveness and creating data driven marketing spend optimization ideas, using the MTA digital attribution model and the MMM econometrics model.


You’ll be in charge of developing insights for performance management teams, senior management, finance and agency partners to ensure we are able to make informed data driven decisions to support our planning processes through the analysis and prediction of marketing performance.

As a newly established function within the business, it will be up to you to build and grow this team to be the best it can be.


We need you to have a wealth of experience in Digital Marketing and/ or Web Analytics and a deep understanding of paid advertising optimization. We use Visual IQ as our marketing intelligence tool, so if you have knowledge of this, great, if not, don’t worry as we can teach you. We’d love you to know both MTA and MMM but appreciate you might be stronger with one or the other.


More important is your ability to think broadly, strategically and drive forwards change using a creative approach to problem solving. Not asking for much are we.
