HR, Reward and Benefit Lead


This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and varied HR team.


With around 10,000 employees across our Group and Retail Functions, your role here at William Hill will be large and varied. Managing Reward, Benefits and HR transactional processes and query handling for all aspects of the employee lifecycle and HR calendar.


This role is focused on customer experience, Stakeholder management, quality control, compliance, data accuracy, HR expertise, and delivering improvements based on proactively obtained stakeholder and customer feedback. More specifically, this role will work closely with the Retail & Group Admin Team, Payroll, HR Systems, Employee Relations & Reward Team to plan and allocate resources and responsibilities across the GO2 Service Centre in line with SLAs and cut-offs, whilst owning the monthly delivery of the flexible benefit window processes. You’ll also offer a tailored and flexible service to several key stakeholders and manage bespoke processes driven from HR and Reward initiatives.


You’ll own and plan the delivery of our monthly flexible benefits administration and manage annual window processes, manage London Travel Cards administration and distribution, monthly and annual

And also manage annual Cycle2 Work activity.


Supporting Reward and Internal Communication you’ll help deliver the quarterly and Annual Go One Better Awards, you’ll also manage and oversee the administration of several third-party benefit providers and platforms including: Thomsons, MyChoices, TFL, EdenRed, Halfords, BUPA, Zenith etc. As well as manage invoicing and crediting to ensure service continuity inclusive of all audit requirements.


You’ll also:


  • Support global mobility through the relocation process ensuring our colleagues are well supported and agreed provider relationships maintained
  • Support on exec and senior hires benefit administration as well as key onboarding processes
  • Focus on continuously improving HR & Reward transactional services relating to employee experience, drive down query volumes, increase accuracy & improve the overall efficiencies
  • Manage, track and report on agreed transactional process delivery performance, such as query management, employee record management, data input, and document production, against the agreed procedures, quality controls, SLAs, KPIs and legislative requirements (e.g., GDPR)
  • Maintain a proficient understanding of the solution architecture of William Hill’s SAP SuccessFactors system and identify and drive HR process improvement opportunities
  • Forge strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, ensuring effective and consistent channels of communication and collaborative working
  • Working closely with the wider GO2 function to ensure robust Reward and benefit administration processes, acting as an escalation point to support complex queries
  • Manage company car and salary sacrifice car scheme (Go2Green) changes and requests, inclusive of approvals and collaboration with stakeholders


What we’d love to see from you:


We’d love you to have experience of working in a high volume, fast paced admin, or service centre environment and be driven to deliver an outstanding and bespoke customer service. In addition, we’d like to see extensive experience of HR, Benefit & contractual Administration including VIP service for Senior stakeholders and experience of working with Flexible Benefits/ Reward Packages including Travel Cards, Company Car schemes, Private Healthcare, First Bus. Metro and Season Ticket Loans.

Strong stakeholder management and ability to build key relationships on all levels and the ability to motivate and build a positive engaged team through coaching and developing team members.

You’ll have advanced IT skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and analytic tools with an excellent attention to detail.


You’ll also:

Previous experience in Rewards & benefits desirable, but not essential.
