Your role in the team

 

As a Security Analyst, you’ll help us stay one step ahead of cyber criminals. You’ll respond to online security incidents, proactively hunt for potential threats, and flag current vulnerabilities.  You’ll be an influential member of our technology team, offering advice to non-technical users and encouraging them to follow good security practices. Alongside our Level 1 Security team based in Krakow, you’ll support the delivery lifecycle, making sure changes are delivered with minimal impact to our customers. 

You’ll detect, investigate and complete root cause analysis on emerging threats to avoid them happening again. You'll have the opportunity to monitor threats to systems for William Hill in all our operating territories - these include Malta and Sweden, plus new USA business. This global expansion increases the risk of threat due to the varied nature of our systems.

You’ll need to think on your feet, make quick decisions and understand the potential business impact of everything you do.  We can offer you a platform from which you can grow and develop your skills. Skills needed

 

  • Work experience in a busy digital / online operational Information Security environment
  • Experience with PCI-DSS, networks, SIEM implementations and web application firewalls
  • Security incident response skills are key to this role 
  • Experience using Splunk and / or Darktrace is desirable
  • We would like you to demonstrate a passion for cyber security - tell us about your involvement in Capture the Flag competitions!
  • The role involves a flexible working pattern, including Saturdays on a rota basis, so flexibility is required. .
