International Publishing and Communications Manager


Promoting the sports betting market internationally


We’re on an exciting journey at William Hill; the next phase of our transformation is International expansion. We’re creating a new International Hub in Malta, and we’d like you to be part of it. We’re building teams that will drive forwards the performance of our products, within our different focus regions, putting the customer at the centre of everything we do. As International Publishing and Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for a team producing top quality promotional content for our International websites.


Your role in the team


Focussing on our Sportsbook product, you’ll be leading a team of bi-lingual content and promotions professionals. You’ll be the driving force behind our communications plan for key countries, with an understanding of our constantly evolving product.

Our websites serve as the door into the William Hill world and it’s important that we provide customers with a first-class user experience in terms of intuitive user journeys and relevant content. It will be your team who ensures excellent content in various formats on the localised desktop and mobile platforms whilst remaining aligned with our central teams.

You’ll be motivating and educating the International Publishing Team on how to maximise revenues from our site traffic via right content, appealing promotions and detailed communications plans, whilst supporting them in developing strong and close relations with key internal stakeholders in a matrix organization, ensuing we are all collectively reaching business goals and making it happen.


Skills required


We’d like you have had previous experience managing teams within the gambling industry, but if not, then definitely within editorial or publishing. Online content management experience is necessary as is knowledge of the tools required; HTML, CMS  and MS Office.

You’ll need excellent English skills, and knowledge of other languages is preferred as you will be leading a multi-national team, with this in mind, you’ll need to have first class communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team are essential.
