Japanese Content and Promotion Executive - Junior

What will you be responsible for?


As a Content and Promotion Executive, it will be your responsibility to present our customers with an experience that is befitting of one of the world’s leading betting companies. This can only be achieved by understanding what customers want and having the ability to optimise the site offering in order to create intuitive journeys.


Betting might be the core product and where the money is made but, as a content editor, you will recognise that good customer experience goes beyond winning bets.


By working alongside these departments and teams you will be able to prioritise workload and determine what is most relevant for our customers. The end result will be strong acquisition and retention, happy customers and improvements in bets placed and turnover.


Business as usual practices are most likely to fall into one of three categories, these are:


  • Content: tasks include writing copy, banner requests, signposting promotions, creating SEO pages, providing services to gaming, arranging betting opportunities based on customer interest


  • Language: tasks include providing accurate and timely translation across sports and gaming, updating existing copy, reviewing quality and proofreading of translations, providing linguistic support to other departments, ensuring promotions are compliant


  • Product: tasks include supporting the development team, changing process to accommodate new features, localisation of new products/features/games, providing feedback.



What we would like to see from you:


  • Excellent Japanese language skills and fluent in English
  • Keen interest in sports betting and online gaming
  • Strong written skills, with the ability to write intelligent and engaging sports betting content
  • Proven translation skills
  • Quickly adapts to and embraces new technologies
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experienced in using content management systems
  • Self-motivated and able to work from own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and interest in segmentation and mobile applications
  • Focused on providing the best possible customer experience onsite.
