Your role in the team

 

As a key contributor you’ll work as part of an agile team, to deliver high-quality, customer-focused, technical solutions to exceed the customer's expectations.  You will be expected to develop and execute high-quality test cases to ensure adequate testing is performed on the rapidly developed software within a product channel.

 

As the Test Engineer you’ll use various technologies to develop test suites, which will include automation, non-functional (performance and security) and, where appropriate, manual test cases. You will also write acceptance criteria and collaborate on solutions alongside other disciplines including Developers, Product Owners and Architects, ensuring quality is at the heart of everything we do. You have a real chance to make an impact.

 

 

 

About You

 

You will have strong commercial experience with a proven ability of writing test suites covering both development and production environments. Your knowledge should cover testing techniques and root cause analysis, Core Java and CI/CD tools such as Gitlab. You'll have automation experience with Java and experience in testing Microservices through RESTful APIs and BDD testing using frameworks such as Serenity/Selenium with Cucumber. What we would love to see from you, but not essential is experience with performance tests such at Gatling or JMeter, monitoring tools,  messaging systems as Kafka, Cloud technologies and the Spring Framework. If you happen to also have ISTQB qualifications or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject then that would be great but not essential.
