Loss Prevention Analyst 

Your role will be

Managing escalations from a team of auditors, you’ll investigate cases of suspicious activity in William Hill Online. You’ll work closely with the Head of Risk & Loss Prevention, supervisors, managers, and analysts to forecast, mitigate and accurately document the impact of procedural breaches and fraud on the business:
You have a good understanding of Loss Prevention and no problem working in strict procedures. Furthermore, you will have contact with a variety of different channels within the business, and your approach to problems that might arise is logical and methodical.

You will be responsible for

Work with the Head of Risk & Loss Prevention and Online Audit Supervisor to document and mitigate risks across Online Sportsbook, Gaming, and Payments
Prepare and present evidential packages in keeping with departmental guidelines
Ensure delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs
Adopt a methodical approach to risk and loss prevention
Interrogate internal MI, supplier data and CCTV to establish potentially fraudulent activity
Respond to ad hoc requests in an appropriate and timely fashion
Raise procedural standards, knowledge, and awareness through escalation of serious procedural errors to Operations Managers
Implement and maintain best operational practice across the internal and external process chain
Coach and develop colleagues in the detection of procedural breaches and potential fraud
Work with supervisors and managers to instigate measures aimed at driving down the cost of procedural breaches and fraud
Model the company values and vitals

Skills we are looking for

Strong problem solving and logical reasoning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
IT literate, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience of preparing, interrogating and presenting data
Educated to at least GCSE standard (C or above in English and Maths or equivalent)
Betting industry knowledge
Experience of loss prevention in William Hill Online
Knowledge of Risk & Loss Prevention policies and procedures

Performance measured by:

Delivery against internal SLAs and KPIs
Evidence of a risk-based approach to loss prevention
Accuracy and suitability of reports
Feedback from key stakeholders and customers
