Job description

We're looking for a Marketing Automation Lead to join our Data Management Team, responsible for the implementation, automation, adoption and ongoing use of customer engagement platforms across our business divisions. We're working on new platforms, new automation and there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join as we start to define our portfolio.

 

Your role in the team

 

You'll spend much of your time with leading vendors and third parties, creating marketing solutions and looking at how they are building or integrating with our systems. You'll be looking at what content we're putting out there, how we're sending it and how it fits the audience, all the while considering how to introduce automation.

 

From the consulting side, you'll work with divisional stakeholders to understand current challenges and opportunities, helping to articulate how marketing processes can unlock new and better engagement models. At times you'll look at this from a product management perspective, leading or supporting the development of specific customer marketing initiatives. You'll support stakeholders to leverage platform capabilities to achieve their business objectives.

 

The all-important architecture aspect will involve:

 

  • Running proof of concept efforts to quickly test and validate solutions to sustain marketing initiatives
  • Researching and identifying new trends and capabilities, assessing technical feasibility of new technologies and integrations
  • Defining and optimising where and how agreement takes place for marketing automation use cases
  • Ensuring marketing technology always meets security and player safety requirements
  • Ensuring consistency of implementation across similar journeys and setups within divisions and jurisdictions
  • Preparing solution designs and where applicable review work of Technical Architects (solution designs, journeys and automations)

 

Skills needed

 

  • Extensive background in delivering marketing solutions in multi-layered environments
  • Solid understanding of marketing, marketing technologies and an ability to apply technology know-how to improve how we reach out to our customers
  • Broad knowledge of web technologies (these could include HTML, JavaScript, style sheets, MMPs, Analytics tracking and Dashboarding, APIs)
  • Understanding data structures and modelling, preferably including experience of SQL
  • Extensive experience with one or more AdTech and MarTech platforms, preferably Tealium, Braze, TradeDesk, Optimizely, Google and Adobe product suites
