Job description

As a PPC Manager for William Hill, you’ll be working as part of a world class Digital Marketing team in London. We’ve only been together for a little over a year but in that time we’ve made tremendous progress and together we’re responsible for the development of best in class PPC campaigns.

Your role in the team
Reporting into the Head of Sports PPC, you’ll have responsibility for the business development of our PPC strategy. You’ll be driving our online revenue growth, through the acquisition of profitable players from PPC. You’ll be in charge of creating and managing best in class PPC campaigns with a focus around the world’s key sporting events, which could be anything from Cheltenham to Wimbledon to The Superbowl.

You’ll be responsible and accountable for a significant budget for your campaigns and will take ownership for monitoring and optimising performance to ensure ROI, identifying where we can go one better and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the UK market.

The development of our people is important to us and as a key player in the team, you will support your junior colleagues, sharing your expertise and knowledge through training and mentoring.

Skills needed
As part of the Sports PPC team, you will have a love of all things sport and you will be living and breathing this as part of your role. It would be great to see some gambling/gaming experience too but it’s not a deal breaker! You will need to be a strong team player with a passion for problem solving, innovation and of course sport.

As a PPC Manager, you will ideally strong record in managing PPC campaigns with a track record of delivering ROI. This role requires a target driven person who is motivated to succeed and deliver world class campaigns. You’ll be working in a high expectation, fast paced environment and you’ll need to be prepared to challenge and be challenged.

Technical skills are key to this role – You will have industry-leading knowledge of PPC systems and tools such as Google Ads, Search Ads 360 and Google Analytics. You should be technically minded and data orientated, with strong knowledge of tagging, tracking and attribution and highly fluent with Microsoft Excel
