Your role in the team

 

As well as looking after our monthly payroll, you'll own our local benefits and reward schemes. You'll be responsible for all the detail of monthly HR reporting and dashboards, including starters, leavers, maternity, paternity, exceptions and sickness. We use Easypay, so this will be your tool for managing your work. This includes all aspects of the employee life cycle from starters to leavers, and all the milestones in between. You'll need to rely on your expertise of calculations and deductions, as well as your knowledge of tax regulations.

 

You'll be our liaison with the Gibraltar government and tax office on a range of subjects, queries and legislative change. Negotiating local benefits and maintaining relationships with suppliers will be part of your role too.  Within William Hill, you'll work closely with the UK Pensions team, Reward team and of course your colleagues in the People / HR function - both locally and in our global offices.

 

Skills and experience

 

Accuracy, detail and diligence are at the core of your skillset as an experienced payroller. We need you also to be analytical, comfortable  interpreting data and generating reports. It goes without saying that you're good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information.

From day to day you'll find yourself working with colleagues at every level up to the Exec team, so a confident communication style and the ability to tailor your approach to suit your audience are essential.

Experience using Easypay would be a distinct advantage.
