Job description
At evoke, we believe in making world-class experiences for both our customers and our colleagues. To ensure we do this, we use insight & data to guide all the decisions we make. Within the People Analytics team, we are a team responsible for making this happen, aiding the business in using insight and data about the people that work for us to create value. This not only includes supporting the HR team, but also other teams within the business that can use this information to achieve our goals. Our People Analytics Analysts champion our data, ensuring it is accurate, reliable & shared with our stakeholders when required.

What you will be doing:

This is an excellent entry level role for anyone looking to start their career journey in data & analytics or HR. You’ll have to opportunity to build relationships with our senior leaders and be involved in supporting our business in solving problems by exploring all our data has to offer. Continuous improvement & staying current is at the heart of what we do, and we have a bespoke People Analytics learning platform to support this. Our work plays a key role in advising strategic decisions, meaning this role gives you chance to provide real, meaningful impact to our colleague experience.

As part of the People Analytics team, you will help support and challenge our whole business to be insight focused, especially within our HR strategy. You’ll:
  • Gather and integrate extracts from each of our global HRIS Systems to create central global HR datasets.
  • You’ll utilise your quantitative skills to standardise and analyse data sets to ensure data accuracy and investigate root causes in data discrepancies, suggest solutions and ensure that these are highlighted to the wider People Analytics team.
  • Build and maintain a close working relationship with our Global HR teams to review and audit their data and provide feedback for improvements on data integrity and consistency.
  • Run regular reports/dashboards that track the People team's KPIs, provide insight to key stakeholders and maintain our global HR platforms.
  • You’ll do this whilst ensuring the required outputs are delivered to your stakeholders on time, in full and accurately. This will include clear communication of insight and trends pitched appropriately for the audience. This may require a combination of storytelling, visualisation, presentation, and written communication to inform and drive action.
Who we are looking for:

  • Data skills are essential, so you'll be confident in manipulating and identifying errors in large datasets.
  • You’ll also be able to extract trends from large datasets and then clearly communicating these with the use of appropriate visualisations.
  • A plus would be the ability to tell a story and form a coherent narrative from data to a range of audiences to drive action.
Analytical Tools:
  • It's essential that you’re skilled in using Excel (XLOOKUPS, COUNTIFS, Pivots) & PowerPoint
  • Previous experience using HRIS Systems (e.g., SAP Success Factors, Bamboo HR), Python or Power BI would be a plus, though as long as you have a genuine interest in data and you're keen to learn, we have training that can teach you the technical tricks.
Communication:
  • You'll have effective communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex ideas to a range of different stakeholders confidently over calls and in person.
  • It’s also important that you’re able to work autonomously through effective prioritisation of your tasks and workload, manage the expectations of our stakeholders, and can work to sometimes tight deadlines. We're a close, collaborative, and supportive team, and you’ll be able to build good relationships with your colleagues in People Analytics as well as the wider business.
  • It would be great if you can demonstrate good problem-solving skills, can identify clear solutions. Project Management skills or experience in HR would be a bonus. You'll need to be a quick learner and happy to pick up new skills and systems.
