Job description

Ready to take a leadership role that steers the ship toward excellence and efficiency? As a Principal Performance Lead at 888 William Hill, you'll wear the dual hats of driving process improvements and project success. Your mission will be to refine and optimise our delivery mechanisms, transforming complex challenges into purposeful solutions, while also nurturing a culture of continuous improvement. With a proactive and hands-on approach, you'll foster collaboration and harmonise efforts with Product and Tech teams, all while becoming the beacon of impactful change within the organization.

What you will be doing

·       Performance Review and Optimization: Continuously review and measure delivery performance and ways of working, identifying opportunities for optimization.

·       Project Pipeline Management: Drive the project pipeline, ensuring timely and effective project delivery when needed.

·       Continuous improvement: Identify problems, facilitate structured problem-solving, validate and prioritize solutions, and drive implementation to make lasting improvements.

·       Coaching and Education: Coach team members on the value of continuous improvement and the importance of using metrics to support decisions.

·       Data-Driven Approach: Ensure that metrics are central to decision-making, providing insights into what is working well and where improvement is needed.

·       Team Leadership: Lead at least one Agile Performance Lead, supporting software delivery teams in measuring and improving team health and performance.

·       Proactive Work Ethic: Work proactively with a ,,get things done” attitude, prioritizing tasks based on value metrics and fostering a positive, psychologically safe culture.

·       Project Delivery Oversight: Ensure that all projects within the organisation are delivered to the agreed scope, time, and quality standards in collaboration with Product and Tech counterparts.

         A keen ability to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas of waste within processes and structures

         A strategic and analytical outlook, staying attuned to the latest process enhancement strategies

         Proficiency as a Change leader, adept at fostering an environment of ongoing transformation

         Experience in guiding impactful 'kaizen' events, directly translating to improvement savings and measurable outcomes

         Strong conflict resolution skills, demonstrating diplomacy, coaching, and leadership to motivate and inspire others

         Excellent problem-solving capabilities, coupled with decisiveness and grace under pressure
