Job description

Based in Leeds, this is an exciting opportunity to join William Hill’s CIO function and engage in high profile projects which will improve the experience for customers and employees, in our online and Retail business.

You will join the Product & Planning Team who work with our technology teams to manage their products/services to be as effective and efficient as possible whilst ensuring the services they provide align with the wider customer-facing Product Teams.

This role offers business-wide exposure and will suit someone who can work closely with technology professionals and business contacts to make change happen. Ensuring traceability from the business vision through to test cases.

You'll also be responsible for assessing the business impact of changes on our organisation, eliciting and analysing requirements from business owners and thoroughly documenting requirements to ensure the right changes are made.

This role will give you exposure to all key technology changes happening within the CIO area and beyond where we support the wider product teams to enable their vision.

What we'd love to see from you

  • Previous experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably with a recognised qualification
  • An agile methodology and mind-set. 
  • Examples of producing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and confident to share your views
  • Can identify and analyse new business opportunities
  • Can understand and perform risk management. You will fully understand the risks (technical, financial, business, and so on) of implementing the proposed solution and weigh those against the risk of not implementing the solution
  • Ability to map requirements and dependencies across multiple teams where technology is integrated/shared
  • Experience working in shared technology/platform areas is also desirable
