Job description

We're looking for a passionate, innovative, creative, and results-driven Data Product Manager you'll be highly proficient in SQL with excellent Python skills, capable of transforming and manipulating large and complex datasets.

 

In this role you'll act as the bridge between business and technical teams by gathering and translating business needs into detailed, actionable technical requirements you'll also define and own the product vision for data products, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements and deliver comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), including the design of scalable and complex BI/data models.

 

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Defining data models, dashboards, and reporting structures to support regulatory, operational, and analytical use cases.
  • Creating and managing a well-prioritised product backlog, translating low-level specifications into clear sprint goals.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for BI and data users, supporting both ongoing and new initiatives.
  • Collaborating closely with compliance leads, business analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of data-driven solutions.
  • Proactively troubleshooting product and data-related issues, driving timely resolution and continuous improvement.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll have an understanding of Data Engineering and Data Quality practices, including ETL processes and ensuring integrity in large-scale systems.
  • SQL and excellent Python skills, capable of transforming and manipulating complex datasets you'll have extensive experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in similar technical environments.
  • Proven ability to work within Agile teams, particularly Scrum, with a focus on iterative delivery and stakeholder value and experienced in integration and testing environments, collaborating with QA to meet performance and resilience standards.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, TDD, and BDD with familiarity with cloud-based big data solutions such as Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, or AWS Redshift and exposure to modern data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and real-time streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming, Flink) is a plus.
