Your role in the team


Here at William Hill, we're working on exciting projects in the lead up for the new Premier League season & the World Cup. You'll be working with the marketing, trading, creative & Ad-Ops teams to execute and optimize Programmatic Campaigns to new & existing customers. Candidates will get extensive training across DSP's, and then be responsible for managing campaigns across both Sportsbook & Gaming, before reporting back results to the team with clear, accurate and insightful data.



In this role you will


  • Plan, coordinate, track and optimize across William Hill’s programmatic media activity, working closely with senior internal stakeholders such as Planners, Traders & Propositions Teams. 
  • Create and manage best-in-class programmatic campaigns + build fit for purpose audiences. 
  • Drive William Hill Online revenue growth, through activation and retention of profitable players from programmatic marketing strategies, and driving new customers through acquisition offers. 
  • Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and report back to the Programmatic Audience Manager
  • Post-Campaign Analysis: Utilize the data from Demand Side Platforms, Ad-servers and first party data to build insights and recommendations.  For example, optimization around:
  • Day of week and time of day
  • Frequency
  • Exchanges, Platforms and Websites
  • Audience Profiles
  • Help identify new opportunities for innovation within programmatic marketing (new technologies, new publishers, new data partners)



What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • 1  year+ minimum experience in programmatic marketing is preferred
  • Experience in using 1st Party DMP data to execute programmatic strategies; Adobe ad stack experience (e.g. Audience Manager) and Google 360 stack are a plus, but not essential
  • Knowledge of the sports gambling & gaming industry is a plus, but not essential
  • Hands on experience working with Appnexus, Trade Desk, Quantcast and/or other DSPs preferred
  • Reasonable understanding of ad networks, ad exchanges, and auction marketplaces
  • Well organised, able to prioritize work for self and others
  • Efficient and confident communicator, strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Data oriented and highly fluent with Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work in a multi-national and multi-geography environment (i.e. collaborate effectively using email, phone, video conferencing)
