We have a unique and pivotal opportunity for a Senior Intelligent Automation (IA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business Architect, to enable AI led transformation by creating a baseline business architecture and related cost drivers for a number of our business functions. 

The role reports to the Director of Intelligent Automation and AI Business Transformation and works closely with management teams, subject matter experts, and technical and IT functions to establish and maintain AI-led business architecture and implementation roadmaps.

What you will be doing

You will collaborate with partners, vendors, and internal technical teams for detailed use case assessments and subsequent development and deployment of IA&AI solutions. Additionally, the role collaborates with IT functions to integrate and operate Intelligent Automation and AI solutions, ensuring compliance with security, architecture, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

This role will convert the existing business architecture into an AI-driven business architecture and you will have the opportunity to assess selected use cases for their technical feasibility, benefits, and complexity, and create a business case for each. You will document and outline the technical solutions, provide business cases with ROI calculations, and create deployment and implementation roadmaps.

You will play a key role in prioritising AI transformation potential, defining AI led business architecture and execution plans with stakeholders and present solution proposals in stakeholder forums to allow for robust and data/insight led decision making which will impact the future success of our organisation.

Who we are looking for

  • A degree in engineering, Business, OR equivalent experience with Intelligent Automation & AI Transformation.
  • Experience in leading Intelligent Automation and AI business architecture and transformation
  • Demonstrated track record in identifying and implementing AI-driven process improvements and strategies
  • Proficient in Intelligent Automation and AI technologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends
  • Clear & impactful communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse business and technical audiences
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a strong AI-first approach, translating business needs into AI-focused solutions.
  • Skilled in evaluating, analysing, and recommending optimal solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Strong project and team management abilities, adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
