At William Hill we take pride in the way we communicate. Whether we’re talking to our customers, the general public or colleagues, our tone of voice which we call ‘Specs & Sneakers’ and knowing why we’re communicating is where it all starts.  We’re looking for a Senior Internal Comms Business Partner to take the lead in developing a management-led engagement and communication strategy for our fast-moving Digital and Technology teams.  These are the people who are responsible for creating our digital customer experiences and who design, build, maintain and support our industry-leading Betting & Gaming products.


You’ll be helping leaders to communicate our vision and strategy to their teams and the wider business. Strengthening the connections between teams and supporting collaboration and open communication. And there’ll be a fair amount of change programmes and business initiatives that will require communication support. Your expertise in a role of this nature will help you to navigate a multi-site, global workforce with cultural nuances and different channel preferences.  The messages may be complex, but you’ll be able to break through confusion and distil the key points.


We’re looking for a confident and assured Internal Comms expert who can build credible relationships with C-Suite stakeholders and make an immediate impact as a Business Partner.  You’ll be autonomous from day one, but will have the support of an established team. So you’ll need to bring a wealth of experience from customer facing businesses with a significant online presence and digital / tech functions. If you’re familiar with stakeholder groups who follow Agile methodologies, that would help you to fit in to our culture of continuous improvement where everyone is pushing to go one better. We’re a global business, so you’ll have the opportunity to work with teams in London, Leeds, Gibraltar, Poland, Bulgaria and the Philippines. Face to face time with them will be vital, so you’ll need to be open to travelling abroad on a regular basis. You’ll report to the Head of Internal Comms who’s based in central London, and this will be your base when you’re not out in the business spending time with the teams you’re supporting.
