Here at evoke plc our Poker Fraud Team plays a vital role in protecting the integrity of our global poker markets, overseeing fraud prevention across 888poker and Mr Green Poker. The team proactively identifies, investigates, and mitigates fraudulent activity to ensure fair play, safeguard customer trust, and protect the security of our platforms.
With consolidated oversight of all poker fraud operations, the team strengthens control effectiveness, enhances fraud prevention, and protects revenue and brand integrity across our portfolio. Leveraging advanced detection tools, data analysis, security protocols.
As part of our ongoing integration and expansion within the poker vertical, the team will now also take on responsibility for William Hill Poker fraud monitoring and investigations, creating an exciting opportunity to expand our impact across all our poker brands.
What you will be doing:
- Conducting high-level gameplay analysis, statistical review of player behaviour, and complex fraud investigations
- Detecting, preventing and highlighting a broad range of fraudulent behaviours
- Conducting high‑quality investigations using consistent standards and methodologies
- Applying unified risk mitigation frameworks across 888, Mr Green, and WH Poker
- Ensuring alignment with our Poker Fraud Strategy and wider Gaming Fraud governance
- Presenting gameplay findings and statistical conclusions in a clear, defensible, and audit-ready format
- Articulating complex poker and statistical concepts clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
Who we are looking for:

- Expert-level (professional) poker knowledge with a deep understanding of poker theory, GTO principles, exploitative strategies and advanced gameplay mechanics across cash games and tournaments
- Demonstrable experience as a professional or highly competitive poker player with the ability to interpret nuanced player behaviour and strategy
- Experience handling high-impact or sophisticated fraud cases requiring technical reasoning and structured evidence building
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, SQL, or other analytical tools used for fraud detection and data analysis (preferable).
