Senior Product Owner Native SDK and Sitebase

The Product Owner will be the business voice guiding the introduction and exploitation of Sitebase architecture to the William Hill digital product offering. Sitebase is our internal name for a way of creating a series of digital building blocks that can be reused to enhance and build new product functionality.

It has the potential to make development faster, easier and more scaleable, with reusable components and patterns. This role cuts across our gaming, central product and sportsbook market verticals and will also lay groundwork for international expansion.

Additionally this role will manage development of our Native SDKs for Android and iOS. The product owner will be based in London and report to the Head of Core Product, working with development teams in Krakow and Gibraltar. 

Product owners within William Hill have the following responsibilities.

Working with head of product to translate Product vision and business objectives into high level Product Roadmap

Working with UX, Architect, BA and team to turn Product vision into tangible ideas and solutions

Managing priorities, and directing teams focus –balancing medium-short term value with long-term technical stability and fit with overall William Hill product suite

Using data and listening to customers and stakeholders to ensure best of breed product is designed and delivered

Leading impact analysis to ensure product decisions are based upon delivering business value

Tracking team delivery and communicating product roadmap and release schedule to stakeholders

Ultimate sign-off of features for release (e.g. acceptance of deliverables, big triage)

Working with BAs to ensure highest priority user stories are defined with appropriate detail and are “ready” for development

Additionally for this role, the successful candidate will have experience:

Building content management platforms across native and web products.

Development of SDKs (Software Development Kits)

Technical product management - with multiple internal stakeholder/customers

Rebranding and redesign - understanding the impacts on the underlying platform

Experience in requirements gathering from internal end users - specifically defining user needs and workflows - e.g. admins, contributors, editors etc.

Able to work with UX and UI to produce optimal solutions

Awareness of latest trends in technology.

Plan agile roadmaps and work with business analysts, project managers and developers to create Minimum Viable Products.

Prepare appropriate training materials for end users.

We are offering a basic salary of £65 000 - £95 000 + bonus + benefits
