Job description

Lead from the front (end)

We wouldn’t be at the cutting-edge of online sports gambling without a talented technology team. There’s a lot going on #behindthebet.

Whether it’s a World Cup, the Grand National, or Saturday Premier League; we make sure the customer gets the Quality they deserve. And then some.

About us

With over 16,000 people worldwide, we make a huge investment in everyone, offering great career development opportunities. Our people are at the heart of everything we do and we offer a fast-paced environment where we have fun, celebrate success and give you all the tools you’ll need to be your best self. It’s not just our colleagues we look after – we’ve got a responsibility to our customers too and we work hard on our ambition that nobody is harmed by gambling.

Your role in the team

As a Senior Developer we need you to know your JavaScript (ES5 & ES6) as well as being familiar with Frameworks (React or AngularJS) and Node.js. Agile delivery, automated testing and experience in Dev Ops activities are also things we hold in high regard.

You’ll be using your hands on coding skills to design, implement and document solutions in collaboration with developers and architects.  We’d also like you to take responsibility for the integrity of the software, ensuring technical debt is managed effectively (avoid creating it and remove it whenever there's opportunity) and making sure that we are working to and feeding into development standards and best practices at all times.

Our team is approachable, committed and most of all not afraid to work outside of their comfort zone, so if you think you’ll fit it we want to hear from you.

What we offer

Your 25 days holiday is topped up by 12 bank holidays and  an extra day for your birthday. We also offer you a generous pension, Healthcare and Life Assurance as standard.  Gym discounts, and our office sports and social committee activities could be right up your street.

If you’re thinking about relocating, we’ve got you covered. Our relocation support covers moving costs, temporary accommodation when you arrive, and assistance with home searches, deposits, removals, schools and banking. English is the local language but we can help you and your family with Spanish lessons.

William Hill in Gibraltar

With an average yearly temperature of 25 degrees, this Mediterranean climate has plenty to offer both inside and outside of work. And that includes scaling the impressive Rock of Gibraltar or taking a dip a one of the 6 great beach spots. And with such easy access to Spain, Morocco and Portugal, you can take your pick when it comes to where you spend your weekend.
