Talent Acquisition Partner - Retail


Are you passionate and experienced in Talent Acquisition?


If so we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who'll be responsible for attracting the most talented candidates to work at William Hill.


Based in our Leeds or London office, with a very flexible approach to time with the business or working from home. the role reports into the Talent Director, and is part of our Talent division within our People practice. You'll be working collaboratively with the rest of the talent team and beyond, using the William Hill brand, our suppliers, and your knowledge and creativity to find the talent that is the best fit for the organisation.

Your responsibility will be to acquire talent for our Retail business within the UK. This includes our Customer Service Representatives through to Area Managers.


You'll be partnering our RPO provider to make sure that the business needs are being met in terms of quality, not just quantity. We have around 7,000 employees across the Retail estate at any one time, and it's critical that we have people who care for our customers, love sport and are passionate about the business - being the front line in all we do.


You'll work really closely with our providers to ensure they deliver against their contract. You'll do this by partnering with the business, understanding their talent and people needs and plan with them. You won't be expected to source candidates yourself directly, however, you'll be responsible for making sure we have the right partnerships and contracts in place and that these are fit for purpose.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Representing the William Hill brand by building implementing and feeding back on candidate engagement activity
  • Creating and delivering a plan to improve the visibly and credibility of our employer brand - Pipeline planning
  • Building key relationships within our business - Being the key point of contact to our providers; working collaboratively with them to find the best talent
  • Ensuring that all stakeholders are clear on the recruitment and onboarding processes, and we have the right tools in place for the best candidate experience
  • Alongside our providers, our people insight team and talent and capability team you'll need to assess the success of our talent acquisition approach and tools.


What we'd love to see from you


A real innovator with extensive experience within a talent acquisition function (either in-house or within an account delivery function) and experience of RPO and PSL contract types, delivering to flexible labor requirements.


You'll have exceptionally strong stakeholder management experience and be versed in managing relationships at all levels.


You'll also have experience and understanding of the challenges of recruiting multi-hire roles - ideally within a fast-paced Retail organisation.


If you have CIPD that's great but it's not essential.
