Job description

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented Global Internal Auditor Manager to join our dynamic team. 

Hybrid working from either our Leeds or London office, you'll be responsible for evaluating and reviewing our organisation’s financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with legal & regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and company policies.

 What you will be doing

      • Developing and implementing audits and testing strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
      • Leading and managing audit teams to ensure timely completion of audits and achievement of audit objectives
      • Identifying and assessing potential risks and control weaknesses, and developing recommendations for improvement
      • Reviewing and evaluating audit findings, and preparing comprehensive audit reports for management
      • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of audit issues and working closely with the Senior Internal Audit Manager to ensure full delivery of the Internal Audit plan
      • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into audit processes and procedures
      • Providing guidance and training to your direct reports, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning
      • Ensuring compliance with ethical standards and professional guidelines, and maintain confidentiality of audit information

  

Who we are looking for

 

      • Previous working experience in auditing where you have also lead a team 
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of auditors
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
      • A professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) is an added advantage
